Tesseract Biography

Formed in the United Kingdom in the mid-2000s, Tesseract became a leading name in modern progressive metal, combining low-tuned guitar work, shifting time signatures, and melodic vocals. The band's evolving sound is represented across albums including One, Altered State, and Polaris. Tracks such as “Concealing Fate,” “Nocturne,” and “King” are among the best-known points of entry into its catalog.

Tesseract's music rewards close listening, but its dynamic contrasts also translate naturally to a live setting, moving between intricate, forceful passages and spacious melodic sections. The Fillmore's intimate ballroom scale offers a setting well suited to that interplay. No tour name or opening act is specified for this date.

The performance adds a heavy-music stop to the Fillmore District calendar, in a venue known for hosting generations of touring artists. The show is scheduled for January 24, 2027; check current event information for any updates to the lineup or schedule.
